Ingredients

  • 2 lb. flank steak cut into 1/4″ strips
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp. orange zest
  • 2 Tbsp. corn starch
  • 3 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1 bunch of green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Season beef with salt and pepper.  Put oil in the pressure cooker pot and select browning.  When the oil is hot, brown the meat in separate batches until browned.  Set aside. 
  2. Set the pressure cooker to saute and add garlic.  Cook for 1 minute or until fragrant. 
  3. Add orange juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes and the orange zest to the pot.  Add the browned beef along with accumulated juices.  Select pressure to high for 12 minutes. 
  4. When finished, do a quick release. 
  5. Combine the cornstarch and water whisking until smooth.  Add the mixture to the sauce in the pot, stirring constantly.  Select simmer and bring the mixture to a boil stirring constantly  until the sauce thickens.  Add green onions. 
  6. Serve over rice and garnish with additional orange zest, green onions, and pepper flakes if desired.
