Ingredients
- 8 oz. linguine noodles
- 1.5 lb 93% lean ground beef
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 3 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch + 1/4 cup water (slurry)
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)
- Avocado oil spray, for cooking
Instructions
- Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and lightly spray with avocado oil. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook until fragrant.
- Stir in brown sugar, beef broth, hoisin sauce, and soy sauce. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry, then pour into the pan. Stir until the sauce thickens.
- Add cooked noodles and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
- Finish with sliced green onions and red pepper flakes if desired.
