Ingredients

  • 8 oz. linguine noodles
  • 1.5 lb 93% lean ground beef
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 3 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch + 1/4 cup water (slurry)
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Avocado oil spray, for cooking

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and lightly spray with avocado oil. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in brown sugar, beef broth, hoisin sauce, and soy sauce. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry, then pour into the pan. Stir until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add cooked noodles and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
  7. Finish with sliced green onions and red pepper flakes if desired.
