Ingredients
- 3 tsp. dry yeast granules
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 1/3 cup warm water
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
Instructions

Place the years and sugar in a large bowl; cover with warm water (not hot) and let stand 20 minutes.

Stir in salt and olive oil; add flour and knead dough until smooth.

Tip: cover hands with salad oil to prevent sticking).

- Place dough into a greased bowl, cover with a cloth and let stand for 4 hours. Punch dough down and spread onto 2 pizza pans. Allow to stand for an additional 2 hours if you want thick, Sicilian-type dough.
- Tip: when spreading onto pans, wet hands with water to prevent sticking and give a crunchy texture.
- Prebake crust for 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven and cover with your favorite pizza toppings.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
