Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dry thyme
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 3 cups elbow macaroni
  • 3 cups beef stock or broth
  • 12 oz. processed cheese, like Velveeta

Instructions

  1. With the cooker lid off, heat the oil on saute (or brown) until sizzling.  Place the ground beef in the cooker and cook until browned.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients except for the cheese, into the cooking
  3. Securely lock the like and set for 6 minutes on high.
  4. Perform a quick release to release the pressure cooker pressure
  5. Add the processed cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.  Let sit 5 minutes to thicken before serving.
