Elfreth’s Alley

Elfreth’s Alley is the oldest continuously inhabited street in the United States, established in 1703.  The alley runs from N Front Street to N 2nd Street and was listed as a National Historic Landmark in October of 1960.  It features 32 preserved Federal and Georgian homes that are still occupied today.
