The Attic is a fantastic local restaurant that is open for breakfast and lunch during the week until 4. Known for its lunchtime roti and quesadillas, it is also an excellent stop to grab breakfast. Sitting on the front porch, you will see a constant flow of take-away orders, so be sure to place yours in advance if you are in a time crunch.
The Attic itself has been around for decades, formerly of Plymouth, where it was literally in an attic, and run by the current owners Carolynne’s mother. Our first meal on Montserrat in 2015 was at The Attic. While each location on the island has their own take on the national dish of goat water, it was my first meal and what I think of when I visit The Attic.
