Ingredients

  • 2 broccoli crowns, finely chopped
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • Mayonnaise (about 3 large serving-spoons full)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl stir together the vinegar and sugar.
  2. In a large bowl mix the broccoli, onion, bacon and cheese.  Stir in the vinegar-sugar mixture and let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Stir in the mayonnaise 1 spoonful at a time until desired consistency.
  4. The dressing will thin as it marinates.
