Ingredients

  • 1 10 3/4 oz. can of Condensed Tomato Soup
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 package of Dry Onion Soup and Recipe Mix
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Reserved drippings

Instructions

  1. Mix 1/2 cup of the tomato soup, beef, pork, onion soup mix, bread crumbs and egg thoroughly.  In baking pan (loaf pan) shape firmly into 8″ x 4″ loaf.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours or until the meat loaf is no longer pink in the center (160 degrees).
  3. In a small saucepan, mix 2 Tbsp. drippings , the remaining tomato soup, and water.
  4. Heat thoroughly and serve with meatloaf.
